Call rates fall
Wholesale call rates fell 2 points to 25 per cent in early trading yesterday after the cancellation of the trading bank strike. Rates were expected to consolidate above 25 per cent during the week, dealers said. They said the market remained nervous about a trading bank staff vote tomorrow to approve the pay offer which averted the strike.
