Youth dies
A youth was killed when his car failed to take a left-hand bend on the Christchurch-Akaroa highway and crashed into the Taitapu bridge early yesterday morning. He was
Stewart Craw Whitelaw, aged 18, a farm worker, of School Road, Taitapu.
The accident occurred about 3.20 a.m. A St John ambulance and the Fire Service were called to the scene.
