Social impact team
Throughout the restructuring of the public sector of the Government had sought to minimise the social impact of decisions on communities and individuals, said the Deputy Prime Minister, Mr Palmer. A team had been set up
by the State Services Commission to establish a network of co-ordinators in 17 places throughout New Zealand. He said a budget of $5 million had been allocated to help those affected by the changes.
