Company launch for Christchurch show
An international financial planning network providing financial services to medium-income individuals and families has set up in New Zealand. A speaker from the organisation is rostered on the seminar schedule. Money Concepts International in association with International Financial Services Inc., a multinational, multi-million dollar group based in Florida, United States, developed the financial planning professions first turn-key franchise operation — the same arrangement; that brought the world the Big Mac hamburger. Some 500 financial planning centres have been established in a network which spans the United States, the Caribbean, Ireland, the United Kingdom, Australia and Canada. Money Concepts International was founded by chairman and president John P. Walsh, who has an impressive list of credentials associated with the financial services industry. World-renowned golf professional Jack Nicklaus is vice-chairman of the Company. Money Concepts (N.Z.), Ltd, with its head office based in Christchurch, is setting up the network in New Zealand. The New Zealand company have established three offices in 'Auckland, one in Wellington and another in Christchurch. Money Concepts (N.Z.) managingdirector, Graham Rich, said, “It is planned to have 16 Money Concepts franchise outlets nationwide by the end of 1987 ... we are extremely confident that Money Concepts is an idea whose time is now. New Zealand is wanting such a service. This has been confirmed by the large amount of customer interest already generated in the Christchurch franchise over the last six months.” Money Concepts Financial Planning Centre in Christchurch is udder the direction of Mr David Wallace. Mr. Wallace brings a wealth of experience to Money Concepts and has been the first to implement the Money Concepts systems in New Zealand with his team of
financial planning consultants. As an executive director of Money Concepts (N.Z.) Ltd, Mr Wallace is using the opportunity of the Money Show to publicly introduce Money Concepts to the people of Canterbury. A Money Concepts financial planning centre aims to deliver a full
range of personal financial services mainly to households with incomes between $25,000 and . $75,000 per year. The 'more affluent client can also be catered for as each centre has access to a resource pool of specialists, each expert in a particular advisory area of financial planning.
