UEB wool share deal
PA Wellington UEB Industries, Ltd, has -g announced an agreement to sell its shares in two South Island wool scouring companies, Matheson International, Ltd, at Kennington, Invercargill, and UEB Waihi, Ltd, at Winchester, South Canterbury. Both are being purchased by a joint venture company being formed by the New r Zealand Wool Board, Robert Ferrier, Ltd, and Wrightson Dalgety, Ltd, and both will continue to operate as commission scourers. The managing director of UEB, Mr G. R. J. Tedcastle, said the sale of the shares in the Waihi company was still subject to final agreement with UEB partners in that enterprise. -
