Cancer arrested
PA Hamilton Cobalt treatment has arrested the cancer affecting the Te Aroha heart transplant patient, Mr Rowan Stokes.
Mr Stokes had lymphatic cancer diagnosed less than a year after his successful heart transplant in Sydney. In spite of the cancer, which Mr Stokes said he was told affected 6 per cent of heart transplant patients, his new heart had proved to be “extra curlv ”
_ he was feeling drained after the cobalt treatment and would have
another medical check in a fortnight In the meantime, Mr Stokes said, he hoped to regain sufficient strength to do light work.
