Grudge match looms
NZPA-Reuter New Delhi The defending champion, China, beat Hungary, 3-0, yesterday to set up a grudge clash with South Korea in the final of the women’s team event at the w«rld table tennis championships. South Korea, Which inflicted a humiliating defeat on China in the Asian Games final at Seoul three months agd, secured its place in the final by brushing aside , the Netherlands by the same
margin. ”We expected to reach the final,” said China’s coach, Zhang Xielin. “This was good practice for Dai Lili and Li Hui-Fen in the doubles. We will win tomorrow.” South Korea’s coach, Park Chong Dae, was equally confident of victory and said the outcome, woiild depend mainly on its' star player, Yang Young-ja. “We are still not sure of our line-up,” he said.
