Five Christchurch dancers took P art in the launch of the first “high-tech” Toyota forkliff trucks to be made in Christchurch for the New Zealand market. They are (from Beverley Millar, Sonya Barr, Dianne Honeybone, Marlene Le Cren, and Lorraine Evans, of the Toyota Forklift Troupe. A representative of the Andrews and Beaven Industrial Equlpment company, Ltd, said the diesel-powered models had a reputation for quietness. The models range in capacity from 1500kg to 3000kg.
