Women crew trailers
A first for yachting in New Zealand last week-end was 27 women crew learning sailing in trailer yachts on Lyttelton Harbour. The women’s sails-skills week-end was held by a New Zealand Yachting Federation coach, John Leydon, and Wayne Nolan, of Christchurch. The course, for women of all ages, included basic rules and points of sailing, and familiarisation of craft.
