Mr Ross Griffiths, from the D.I.C. department store, Christchurch, with some of the original cartoons used in the production of the movie “Footrot Flats: The Dog’s Tall Tale.” About 450 of the thousands of drawings used to animate the movie will be on sale at the store. Each cartoon was hand-drawn, then hand-painted. The cartoons for sale feature individual characters from the movie. The movie continues at the Regent 1 cinema, in Christchurch.
