No T-bills No Treasury bills will be offered for sale in the weekly bill tender scheduled for today, the Reserve Bank said. Firm offer The Helicopter Line, Ltd, has declared its take-over offer for Treble Cone (Wanaka) Ski Field, Ltd, unconditional, after acquiring 97.93 per cent.
N.Z. INSTITUTE OF ECONOMIC RESEARCH The Board of Trustees of the New Zealand Institute of Economic Research announce the appointment of Dr Alan Bollard a.s Director. Dr Bollard has been Head of the Industrial Economics Division of the Institute since 1984. Prior to that he worked as economist with the Policy Studies Institute and the Intermediate Technology Development Group in London, as consultant to the OECD in Paris, and with the South Pacific Commission In Noumea. He has an MA (honours) and PhD in economics from the University of Auckland.
