Leyland-Mair
Leyland Growth, Ltd, has acquired a further 7.2 per cent of Mair Astley capital, being 1,717,841 shares at an average price of 295 c. Leyland Growth now holds 6,434,778 ordinary shares at an average cost of 266 c a share. This equates to 27.1 per cent of Mair Astley, and Leyland Growth and NZI Life have jointly purchased, for an undisclosed sum, the interests of Mr Robert Hall in their joint venture, Goat Studs (N.Z.), Ltd, to enable Mr Hall to pursue his other business interests.
