Grants for Vanuatu
PA Wellington The aid organisation Corso has announced a grant of $lO,OOO to Vanuatu for work in rural areas affected by Cyclone Uma. Corso has also launched a special Vanuatu emergency appeal, to provide additional support. Fundraising is planned in several centres this week. The national co-ordina-tor, Mr Neil Gray, said funds were urgently needed to begin rebuilding Vanuatu’s shattered villages.
