Lower-grade cricket
There were two outstanding performances in the tenth grade of the Canterbury Cricket Association’s lowergrade competitions on Saturday.
Playing for Sydenham B against Marist B, W. Morgan took a double hat-trick — four wickets in four balls. He finished with four wickets for six runs. A. Bain of Woolston W.M.C. scored 120 not out of his team’s total of 145 against St Albans, but it was not enough to save his team from defeat.
