I’m not one to gossip but ... in Hollywood there’s no such thing as charity. Zsa Zsa Gabor reportedly tried to make thousands of dollars profit out of a children’s charity that was struggling to raise money. When the charity asked her to attend a fund-raising event in Turkey her agent demanded: (1) a $10,600 fee; (2) first-class air travel for two p.eople and her dog; (3) luxury accommodation for two people plus her dog; (4) a limousine and chauffeur at her disposal 24 hours a day; (5) all expenses. To cap it all, when she pulled out at the very last minute, they had to fight eight months before the fee, which had been paid in advance, was returned. Talk about charity begins at home.

Lee Majors has just signed a SI4M contract with ABC to make a TV movie based on his old series and titled “The Return of the Six Million Dollar Man.” Personally I can’t wait to miss it. Richard Harris’s 23-year-old-son Jamie has just been released from a drug rehabilitation programme in England. He’s got himself a job selling flowers outside a London pub.

There are a lot of rumours about what why — and how — “Cover Up” star John-Erik Hexumn died. Well, let me put the record straight. John accidentally shot himself through the mouth while playing around on the set with a prop gun. He lay brain dead for three days in hospital, and died .at the end of November, 1985. At the time of his death he was being hailed as the new James Dean and Marlow Brando rolled into one. He had more in common with his co-star Jennifer O’Neill than just their show. You see, she tried to commit suicide twice over the last five years.

Jeanne Cooper who plays Kay Chancellor on “The Young and the Restless” is to appear with her real-life son Corbin Bernsen on “L.A. Law.” she’ll play his television mum.

Remember the series "McHale’s Navy”? Well, every year the cast and crew of that smash hit series get together, this year marked the twentieth get-together year. They all say they will do this until there are none of them left. That’s some

bond between friends. Comedian Richard Pryor has been ill for several months. He recently went on a national chat show to announce that he was not suffering from A.I.D.S. Pryor married his live-in lover, Flynn Belaine a few months ago, but from what I hear things have not been going well between the newly weds. Fallen angel Kate Jackson says she’s going to quit her series “Scarecrow and Mrs King” because of the weekly grind, but I hear it’s really because of the success of exangels Farrah Fawcett and Jaclyn Smith. The three worked together as Charlie’s Angels from 1976 till 1977. Word is out that Pamela Sue Martin who played the very first (and the best in my book) Fallon on “Dynasty,” wants to return to the world’s number one soapie next season. Harry Hamlin from “L.A. Law” just dotes on

the six-year-old son he had by actress Ursula Andress, and he’s been sending electric trains to their home in Rome for the past two years. His son is now the owner of electric trains worth about $20,000 so now Ursula has converted a guest bedroom to house the choo-choos. Tony Panza,

the star of “Who’s the Boss” is putting together a videotape about boxing, (he is an ex-pro). He’s doing it to show how the sport can be fun and not as dangerous as people think. He’s also delighted to have signed American boxer Tommy Hearns for a guest spot on his show. They will end up sparring together on the show as part of the story line. Funny lady Phyllis Diller has put out a videotape called “How to Have a Moneymaking Garage Sale.” She is a great garage sale fanatic and wants to share her tips about picking up a real bargain. Harrison Ford and his wife are expecting their second child in March. This time they want a boy.

Elizabeth Taylor’s daughter Maria and her husband are back together again, and it’s thanks to Liz. She sat them down and convinced them to try again. Let’s face it she’s the last one to give advice to couples

whose marriage is on the rocks ... but my lips are sealed.
