Hitler ‘died in 1986’
NZPA-AFP Buenos Aires Adolf Hitler died just four months ago at the age of 97 and his mistress, Eva Braun, is alive and well in Argentina living with four adopted children, an Argentine businessman claimed yester-
day. Max Gregorcic, aged 37, has offered to sell proof of his claim to the Delegation of ArgentineIsraeli Associations for SUSSOO million. He said the money would buy several paint-
ings by Hitler, information about the exact whereabouts of his tomb in northern Argentina, Eva Braun’s current address and formal proof of their identities.
Mr Gregorcic refused to answer any questions
from his home in Mendoza, 1000 km west of Buenos Aires, where he has already made a fortune in the import-export business. ...
Mr Gregorcic’s lawyer, Juan Aguilera, said Mr
had reached their conclusions after several years of inquiries. He said Mr Gregorcic’s family in Croatia had been killed by the Nazis.
Mr Aguilera also gave a money-back guarantee.
He said: “There is an absolute guarantee. If the contents of the dossier are false we will reimburse the buyer. The only reason we are asking for money is to cover the costs of the inquiry.”
A film and a book on the affair were being planned.
The delegation’s Chairman, David Goldberg, said that although he did not place any credence on the claims his conscience dictated that he should look into them.
He said on a Buenos Aires radio station that it was “incredible that people were out to make money from information about the greatest murderer in history.”
He also said he was surprised that such a respected man as Mr Gregorcic was involved. Histopr books say Hitler and his mistress Eva Braun committed suicide in a' Berlin bunker on April' 30, 1945, as the Red Army prepared to invade Berlin.
