PRE-ENROLMENT: Pre-enrolment forms are no longer being accepted and students who have not pre-enrolled , by the due date will be required to pay a fee of $5O (plus GST) when they enrol. This fee may be remitted but only in exceptional circumstances. Any student considering his or her case worthy of consideration should outline the details in writing to the Registrar. 2. POSTAL ENROLMENT: Those students eligible for postal enrolment will have received their forms which should have been completed and returned by the Wednesday before enrolment week (February 18). If this has not been done, or if you have not received postal enrolment forms, you must enrol in person as indicated below. 3. ENROLMENT: All students, except Ph.D. candidates and those who have already completed postal enrolment correctly, must attend during enrolment week at the times shown below. They should go to the Science lecture block at Ham where notices will Indicate the correct route to follow. 4. FIRST YEAR STUDENTS: Students enrolling at a New Zealand University for the first time must bring with them evidence, in writing, that they have (I) Obtained the New Zealand University Entrance Certificate or (II) Been granted’ admission “ad eundem” by the , University Grants Committee, or (iii) Been granted admission-“ad eundem” by the University of Canterbury or (iv) Been granted “Special Admission” or “Provisional Entrance” by the University of Canteng for a bursary: (v) Obtained Higher School Certificate, or (vi) Obtained Sixth Form Certificate, or (vli) Obtained Bursary or Scholarship examination. 6. TRANSFERS FROM ANOTHER NEW ZEALAND UNIVERSITY: The enrolment of such students is provisional until their records are received from their previous University by the Registrar and found to be satisfactory. Students who have been declined enrolment in a previous University, or in any Department or Faculty of that University, or who are automatically debarred from re-enrolling, will not be enrolled at the University of Canterbury (page 31, 1987 University Calendar).
