' Corporate Business Analyst National Mutual Group Senior Corporate/Strategic Planning Appointment This new position has been established in the Wellington Head Office to coordinate and develop the National Mutual Group's business planning and research function. National Mutual is a major life insurance company and an important component of the NZ financial sector with assets in the region of 53 billion. The Corporate Business Analyst, who will manage a small section and report to the group's chief executive, will have as leading responsibilities: the identification of strategic opportunities; the development of business strategies and the preparation of plans; the coordination of the company's business plan; the analysis and dissemination of financial market information. The responsibilities will include market evaluations and the financial analysis of projects. Applicants should have experience in business planning and financial analysis (possibly at a corporate level in a large organisation) and should possess an appropriate tertiary qualification, preferably an MBA, with a major in accounting, commerce, economics. Also necessary is experience of coordinating the work of others and the ability to relate easily at all organisation levels. 1 An attractive remuneration package (including housing finance) is offered and will be discussed at interview.
