A prominent Christchurch moto-cross rider, David Oliver, accelerates his XR250 Honda over a small rise while practising for the final round of the New Zealand moto-cross championships at Omihi, North Canterbury, this week-end. Oliver, perhaps best known for his exploits in enduro racing, will contest the open 250 cu cm championship on his modified enduro racer. He holds the Christchurch, Blenheim and Nelson enduro bike moto-cross championships. Practice for the national event will be tomorrow.
