Moresby VACANCIES Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons for the following positions: SENIOR TUTOR/LECTURER/SENIOR LECTURER IN EXPRESSIVE ARTS Goroka Teachers College — G618006/87 The Advanced Diploma Unit at Goroka Teachers College requires a teacher educator with a background in two of the following areas — Dance/ Drama, Visual Arts or Music. Experience in teaching Arts in traditional and contemporary settings would be an advantage. The Advanced Diploma in Teaching (Secondary) Programme is an in-service programme designed to upgrade the subject knowledge and professional skills of experienced teachers in Papua New Guinea Provincial High Schools. It is a two (2) year part-time programme involving residential and distance study sessions. The successful applicant will design residential and distance courses, prepare written and audiovisual materials, and will have a small teaching load of Advanced Diploma in Teaching students as well. There may be some teaching duties in the pre-ser-vice Diploma in teaching from time to time. Applicants should have previous experience in the field and in the preparation of distance education materials, for use in a post graduate teacher development programme as well as an advanced degree in their teaching specialisation.
