IEP U.S. moves
Industrial Equity (Pacific) Ltd, the Brierley Investments, Ltd, associate company has brought holdings in three United States companies. lEP has bought 8.1 per cent of Associated Hosts, Inc., a Californian company, plus 8.9 per cent of another Californian company, Consolidated Capital Income Trust. A stake of 6.4 per cent had been bought in Oglebay Norton Company, based in Ohio.
Tariki well
The Tariki No. 2 well had reached a depth of 2856 m at 6 a.m. yesterday and drilling was continuing, Petrocorp said. Tariki-2 is being drilled 2km north-east of the Tariki No. 1 well. It is an appraisal well designed to determine the extent of the Tariki gas condensate field discovered by Tariki No. 1A in June, 1986. The predicted total depth of the well is 3105 m.
