Diego Maradona’s bid
NZPA-Reuter Rome Diego Maradona, with the World Cup behind him and the Italian league soccer title in prospect, put in a bid yesterday for the added honour of
Italy’s top scorer with two goals in Napoli’s 3-0 win at Udinese. The double took the Argentine’s total for the season to eight, only one behind Internazionale Milan’s Sandro Altobelli.
