Youth hurt in collision
A youth, aged 16, was taken 'to Christchurch Hospital last evening, suffering from moderate chest and leg injuries after an accident involving a car and a motorcycle. The youth’s name and condition were not available last evening. He was attended by members of the St John Ambulance Brigade after the motorcycle on which he was travelling collided with a car at the corner of Rockwood and Bower Avenues about 8.40 p.m.
