TR Australia Investment Trust, a U.K.-based and managed investment trust company, has been granted listing by the New Zealand Stock Exchange. It provides an opportunity for New Zealand institutional and private investors to invest in a diversified range of Australian companies through a specialist investment company in investment management Touche Remnant the managers, are major international investment managers with £42 million (NZ$ll.l billion) in funds under management Eight of the investment trust companies TR manages specialise in a particular sector or geographical region, such as TR Australia Investment Trust pic. Investment trust companies are public limited companies with a fixed share capital, listed on the Stock Exchange, with a board of directors accountable to shareholders. Investment trust companies have the ability to borrow to enhance the return on shareholders’ funds and may also invest in unquoted shares.
