Shareholders of Cashcorp Holdings, Ltd, have authorised the directors to increase the company’s issued capital to $5,875,000. The additional . approved capital will be issued and Stock Exchange listing sought, soon. Cashcorp Holdings was formed in July, 1986, when $550,000 was raised to establish a nucleus flock of cashmere goats, and to buy further animals for screening herds. The company chairman, Mr Derek Quigley, told an

extraordinary general meeting of the company in Lower Hutt that the objectives set out in the initial prospectus had been fulfilled. "A substantial number of top animals have been selected and are currently being farmed here and in Australia. We consider this flock would undoubtedly rate as one of the finest in New Zealand. “We will shortly announce the purchase of a property on which the nucleus flock will be run, and executive appointments will follow,” Mr Quigley said.
