When the geniuses discover that their unscrupulous mentor, Professor r ' Hathaway (William Atherton), has had them working on a secret weapon for the military, they plot < an elaborate revenge. Their plan culminates in an incredible scheme that outsmarts the military and convinces the professor that it does not pay to fool with real genius. This 102-minute comedy floats some ingenious possibilities, particularly the network of laser beams that are bounced around to beat the "bad- S dies” in the closing sequences.
