Meetings mark visit
Officials meetings at Noahs hotel, marked. the start of' the New Zealand visit by Japan’s Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, Mr Mutsuki Kato.
Mr Kato arrived.,in Christchurch from Sydney late on Saturday afternoon and had meetings with the Mayor of Christchurch, Sir Hamish hay, and the chairman of the Christchurch - Kurashiki Sister City Committee, Mr
Butler Graham. ? • ', Mr Kato left for Auckland yesterday for meetings today with the Prime Minister, Mr Lange, and the Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries, 1H Moyle. . - ■ -fl Mr Graham - said, '-that!' during the scheduled 15minute meeting, Mr Kato told him he was trying to help New Zealand .with any problems regarding agricultural or fisheries trade with Japan.
