Le privatisation
The French Government has announced that it intends selling the Stateowned industrial giant Compagnie Generale d’Electricite. C.G.E., with interests ranging from telephones to shipbuilding and nuclear engineering, will be the second State industrial group to be privatised under a five-year programme to return some* 65 nationalised firms to the private sector. — Paris.
