Overdue by 80 years

PA Ashburton A book overdue by more than 80 years has been returned to the Ashburton Library. Mr tom Morton came across an 1898 edition of “The Mutineer,” a romance set on Pitcairn Island, while helping to clear a private library in Christchurch. The deputy librarian, Mr Paul Cumming, said he believed the book could be from the initial collection of the library.
