Kotare Platinum fastest
Kotare Platinum was the fastest heat winner at the Motukarara workouts yesterday. The maiden pacer ran the 2400 m on the grass in 3min 23.75, taking 60.7 s for the last 800 m and 29.9 s for the final 400 m.
Star King won the main heat in 3min 38.15, while other pacing winners were Skywalker (CO; 3min 27.75) and Viva Andorra (Cl; 3min 42.65).
Lustre Fella led all the way to win the trotters’ heat in 3min 30.25.
On the all-weather track Call Me Sir won the two-year-old heat over one mile in 2min 18.8 s, quickening over the last 800 m in 60.75.
Ray Sharpe drove Final Offer to win the stablehan® heat over 2600 m in 3mii 355.
