White most of the ground work on the company’s restructure has been completed, input is still required in areas relating to future expansion, new product introduction and consolidation of existing production. As the senior person on site, the successful candidate, while supported by an experienced Supervisor, will control production quality and fifteen staff on a day-to-day basis. However, as a Profit Centre Manager you will also control purchasing and supply, stock levels, manufacturing costs, future production plans, dissemination of the sales forecast, etc. Candidates should have a production or engineering background, supervisory experience, appropriate qualification and be able to demonstrate a good understanding of unit management. While it is unlikely that a person less than 28 years old will have sufficient experience, applications are welcome from those younger. 1 MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT Tait Electronics is an industry leader in communications equipment. Early next year we will be making an internal transfer to a new position leaving a vacancy for a Management Accountant. This position reports to the Financial Controller and is responsible for monthly reporting to Divisional and Branch Manager, budgeting, variance analysis, some auditing and preparation of annual accounts. The successful applicant will need to be familiar with computerised accounting and have the ability to move with future developments in this area as the Company is in the process of updating and further integrating the accounting, purchasing and manufacturing systems. Comm, or the equivalent. • be near to completing A.C.A. • have two years experience, ideally in a manufacturing environment. • be able to communicate well with other staff.
