The Executive Director is responsible for: • Managing of the office, Gallery, Resource Centre • Management the professional services provided to members • Implementing the policies and directives of the Council Executive • Developing new initiatives for Executive consideration • Maintaining close links with Ministers, Government Departments and allied organisations and the business community • Initiating revenue-generating projects Responsibility is to the President and elected Executive Committee of the Council. The craft industry is playing an Increasingly important role in New Zealand and this is a challenging and demanding position requiring a high level of commitment to the aspirations of the craftspeople of New Zealand.
