Consideration may be given to applicants in some other area of modem continental European history. The Department would welcome applicants with additional interests in women's history, the history of the family, quantitative methods, or some other area of social history. The appointee will be expected to make a substantial contribution to an Introductory European History course at the first year level but will also have an opportunity to undertake teaching In her or his field of special Interest at undergraduate and advanced levels. The applicant should have BVSc, or a good honours degree in related disciplines. The appointee will be expected to assist with teaching in veterinary undergraduate practical classes in Anatomy and will be expected to enrol for a Ph.D. in one of the following research areas: Growth of meat animals, Vertebrate muscle biology, Cardiovascular anatomy. Peripheral neurology. There is interest in anatomical research with both established and newly domesticated species, including fish.
