Health appointments
Wellington
The Minister of Health, Dr Bassett, has announced three appointments to the Board of Health.
Mrs Vai O’Sullivan, of Matamata, formerly chairwoman of the Waikato Hospital Board and now chairwoman of the Board of Health, has been reappointed,. Professor Michael Cooper, of Dunedin, now chairman
of the Otago Hospital Board, has also been reappointed. Another vacancy has been filled by Dr George Hitchcock, a pathologist, of Auckland, and a former chairman of the Auckland branch of the New*. Zealand Medical Association. Dr Bassett said that the board' now had a broad range of geographical and health-related talents.
