Tramper flown out
. A woman who fell ill while tramping was flown from Lewis Pass to Christchurch by R.N.Z.A.F. Iroquois helicopter yesterday morning. Mrs Pamela Lutton, aged 37, of Burwood, was taken to Christchurch Hospital for observation and later sent bome. Mrs Lutton was on a tramp near the Lewis Pass with relatives on
Thursday when she developed stomach pains, said a spokesman for the Christchurch police. One of the party tramped for two hours from the Daniels Hut to get help yesterday morning. Mrs Lutton was picked up by the helicopter near Lake Daniels and flown to Christchurch, arriving at Hagley Park at 11.40 a.m.
