Stud Manager Top Waikato Bloodstock Company Exceptional Development Opportunity Our client operates one of New Zealand’s premier thoroughbred studs, which would rank with the leading studs in Australasia and is expanding rapidly and profitably. It owns several major commercial stallions and some 80 brood-mares, and manages a similar number of horses for clients. The standard of the stud complex and facilities is “second to none". The Stud Manager is responsible for: day to day management of all horses; control of service and breeding activities; farm management (including buildings, pasture and dry feed); maintenance of appropriate records; various related functions. The staff supervised ranges between 10 and 20 people. Salary will be negotiated at a level attractive to the very best Stud Managers in the country. A vehicle will be provided together with rent-free house and other benefits. Relocation expenses will be reimbursed.
