Velvet honours
Mark Sampson of Loburn once again took top honours in the Oxford Agricultural and Pastoral Association’s red deer velvet competition and won the Wilson Neill Trophy. The new hybrid section was won by Brent Barber of Loburn.
Lees Valley Estate took second place in the open red deer section and won the district class. The estate won a trophy presented by Elders Pastoral. Lytham Farm of Oxford was third in the open section and second in the district class. O. M. Brooker of Oxford was third in the district class. Muldoon and Hill of Oxford took second place in the open hybrid section and won the district class ahead of O. M. Brooker who was third in the open and second in the district class. _
