in London A gunman robbed five London petrol stations wearing nothing but a stocking mask. He later told the police he went naked because he did not want to be recognised. Andrew Greene, aged 19, committed the offences last (northern) summer but his case has
only now come to court. He was remanded at.the Old Bailey for medical reports after admitting • three charges of armed robbery and asking for two others to be taken into consideration. His counsel said Greene could offer no explanation for his bizarre behaviour, which netted him just £67 ($185).
