The collection for New Year’s Day will be made on Wednesday, December 31, and that for January 2, on Monday, January 5. All other days—collection as normal. Shop refuse will be collected on the Monday and Tuesday of both weeks. IN THE RURAL AREA: The rural refuse collection service will be on Wednesday, December 24, during Christmas week and Monday, January 5, on the following week. REFUSE DISPOSAL FACILITIES: Enquiries should be made at the Metro Refuse Station in Parkhouse Road—telephone 486-612, where the days and hours of operation can be checked.
