Wellington Members resumed debate on the committee stages of the National Development Act Repeal Bill when Parliament continued under ; urgency at 9 a.m. yesterday. The third reading of the National Development >Act Repeal Bill was passed on a 40-20 division. Debate then began on.' the second reading of the StateOwned Enterprises Bill. ) The debate continued when the House resumed after lunch at 2 p.m. J, The bill was given a second reading after a division. L The Minister of Conservation, Mr Marshall, moved the introduction of the Conservation Bill. It was introduced and referred to the Planning and Development Select Committee. Members then began s debating the second reading of the Survey Bill. The bill was passed through its second reading on a voice count ‘ Debate on the committee stages on the bill was interrupted when the House .rose for dinner at 6.01 p.'m. ; The debate continued when the House resumed at 7 p.m. The second reading debate was completed and the bill was passed through its committal stages. The Environment Bilb was read a second time and the House concluded the second reading of the Airport Authorities Amendment Bill and began the committal stages of the State Owned Enterprises Bill, which were interrupted when the House adjourned at midnight The House was due to sit again at 9 a.m. today.
