The talented two-year-old pacer, Starship, has been scratched from the New Zealand Golden Skipper Stakes at Oamaru today. The colt was withdrawn by his Kaiapoi trainer, Bill McDonald, yesterday, as he was not prepared to start him from a second line draw against inexperienced opposition. ,
