Public Notices PUBLIC NOTICE J NEW ZEALAND PORTS ’ AUTHORITY Proposal of Lyttelton Harbour Board to reclaim 3.95 hectares of the Lyttelton Inner Harbour In September 1985 the Lyttelton Harbour Board submitted to the New Zealand Ports Authority In terms of the New Zealand Ports Authority Act 1968, a proposal to reclaim 3.95 hectares of the Lyttelton Inner Harbour. The Authority invited submissions from all Interested parties and subsequently held a public hearing at Christchurch. After - considering all the evidence, - the Authority has decided i that there is no justification z for the proposed reclamation 5 at this stage. Accordingly, f under S. 12 (2) of the New j Zealand Ports Authority Act 1968, the Authority rejects the . application of the Lyttelton 1 Harbour Board for consent to t construct a 3.95 hectare reclaj mation in the Board’s Inner i Harbour at Lyttelton. / The full text of the Author- - ity’s decision, together with - the dissenting opinion of the s Hon M.
