Frisbee champion to shift
The three-time New Zealand frisbee champion and record-breaker, Peter Bowie, will make his last tournament appearance in Christchurch before shifting when he competes in the South Island championships at North Hagley park on Sunday afternoon.
Bowie will move to Wellington on a promotion transfer with his employer. He will be giving a freestyle demonstration in Cathedral Square today at 12.30 p.m., displaying some of the techniques he will use at the New Zealand championships in January and the Australian championships the following week.
