Awards for artists
PA New Plymouth Artists and photographers whose work best captures any aspect of life, atmosphere and environment in the central King Country are in line for grants announced by the Central King Country Visual Arts Trust. Simon Mclntyre, son of the artist, Peter Mclntyre,
announced the details of the awards, totalling $14,000, at a special function at the Taumarunui Golf Club. Artists can submit work in the media of painting, graphic ,* or photography. The competition will close on October 30 next year, after which an exhibition of the works will be held in Taumarunui.
