Man pleads guilty to biting finger
PA Wellington A man bit a woman’s finger without realising it, the District Court at Wellington was told. Peter Barry Lock, aged 44, an entertainment manager, pleaded guilty to assault. Judge Borrin told Lock that the circumstances were extraordinary and fined him $2OO, ofering half to be paid $ the
complainant. Sergeant Max Grey said the woman and some friends went to an entertainment centre late on August 22, but could not get in. The group became upset and the woman argued with Lock, who bit her finger, which bled. Mr Grey said Lock explained he had been tired because he had been working since midday.
