BHP stake
Bell Resources, Ltd, and Bell Group, Ltd, say they have a relevant interest in 593.99 M shares in the Broken Hill Proprietary Company, Ltd, representing 47.22 per cent of BHP’s issued capital. The increase in holding from 29 per cent relates to the group’s association with Elders IXL, Ltd, after an agreement between BHP, Bell Resources, Ltd, and Elders about BHP’s shareholding reached in September.
