Rainbow in HK
A spokesman for the Hongkong Land Company, Ltd, has declined to comment on rumours that the company is negotiating to sell its Excelsior Hotel to New Zealand’s Rainbow Corp investment group. But stockbrokers in Hong Kong say they understand HK Land is seeking to sell the 951-room hotel for SHK , 1 billion (about SNZ24Om). Sources close to the company have told Reuters it has been trying to find a buyer for the property for three years.
