Magic to aid charity
Canterbury magicians plan to fascinate and amaze on Sunday in their annual show to celebrate International Day of Magic. The show will be held at the Repertory Theatre, at 2 p.m., and all proceeds will go to the combined churches’ Children in Care Fund. A spokesman for the show, Mr Bernard Burke, said the magicians hoped to raise about $5OO. One hundred tickets have been given to charity, and door sales will be available from 10 a.m. on Sunday. Tickets for adults are $3, and for children, $2.
