Bertrand tips ‘dark horse’
John Bertrand, the skipper who won the America’s Cup for Australia, has tipped a dark horse with the potential to cause an upset in the latest cup contest.
Bertrand, who is an interested observer on the sidelines this time round picked the radical San Francisco boat USA as the boat to watch.
“It’s certainly the most extreme concept at this regatta,” he said. “It could be they have a breakthrough on their hands, it’s just a matter of whether they have the time to fully utilise it.
“But I feel it could be the black sheep of the family.”
