TUTORS IN OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY Anatomy and Physiology A POSITION EXISTS to teach Human Anatomy and Physiology principally to occupational therapy students. It is available for 1987. It is expected that applicants will hold an appropriate degree qualification. A qualification in, or knowledge of, occupational therapy would be helpful but not essential. ■ 2. Physical Dysfunction, Rehabilitation APPLICANTS SHOULD be registered occupational therapists but preference will be given to applicants with post-basic qualifications. Extensive practical - experience in the specific field of Physical Dysfunction. It would be helpful if applicants had, or were y willing to develop, expertise on the application of microprocessor technology to the field of rehabilitation. The position Involves teaching students of all three stages In the basic course and contributing to ’ short courses and the Advanced Diploma qualification as appropriate. 3. Occupational Therapy Theory and Practice (Two positions) APPLICANTS SHOULD be registered occupational therapists with extensive clinical experience. Preference will be given to applicants with a relevant post-basic qualification. Duties will include teaching practical and theoretical aspects of occupational therapy to students in all three stages of the basic Diploma course as well as contributing to short courses and possibly the Advanced Diploma programme. It is expected that the starting salary for each of the above positions will be in the range $27,860 to $39,560 per annum. Starting salary will depend on qualifications and experience and it should be noted that staff have an entitlement of 12 weeks annual leave. All positions become available from February 1987.
